Aldham is a village and civil parish in the Babergh district of Suffolk, England. Located around 8 miles west of Ipswich, the 75 homes are spread along a corridor of around 2.5 sq miles. At the southeast corner of the village lies Wolves Wood - an RSPB Reserve.
According to Eilert Ekwall the meaning of the village name is Ealda's meadow/enclosure or old meadow/enclosure. The village was mentioned in the Doomsday Book, at which time it had a population of 16.
The Norman/Saxon Church of St Mary, Aldham is one of 38 existing round-tower churches in Suffolk. At the northern edge of the parish boundary lays Elmsett Airfield.
